Variation checklist - use this to create variations

Lets keep this simple: Below is a variation checklist that you can use when making variations.

Parent item checklist

• How to create a parent SKU for your variation

  • Create a Parent line item on the sheet

  • Create a Parent SKU

  • Leave parent SKU field blank

  • Input "parent" in parentage

  • Input the proper variation theme in "variation theme" in the parent line

  • Leave relationship type blank for the parent line

  • If new parent - use "Update" if not use "partial update”

Child item checklist

• How to create a child for your variation

  • Input the required fields

  • In the parent SKU column - input the same value as the parent SKU

  • Input child in "Parentage”

  • Input "variation" in relationship type

  • For "variation theme" input the same value as the parent item - copy this to ALL the child line items
